Playroom Renovation Project
for Haikou orphanage, Hainan Island, China

Sheltering Pines Press and The Craft Fairy partnered with Love Without Boundaries to raise funds for a much-needed playroom renovation at the orphanage in Haikou, Hainan Island, China.

Children learn by playing, and children who have nothing to play with are often developmentally delayed not only physically but cognitively and emotionally as well. Orphans at the Haikou SWI in Hainan City, Haikou, China, desperately needed the stimulation that this new playroom will provide. 100% of all proceeds from LUCKY LADYBUGS during September, October, and November went to the renovation project, which will be overseen by Love Without Boundaries! Below is the "BEFORE" photo of the Haikou SWI in Hainan City, Hainan. As you can see, the "playroom" is basically just one large empty room. Not a very stimulating environment for little bodies and minds!

Below are photos from a project which Love Without Boundaries completed at the Dingyuan SWI, China. These people do great work! With the help of our donors and ladybug customers, the children at Haikou SWI will soon have a stimulating learning environment like this.
