Sheltering Pines Press
We donate a portion of all net proceeds from sales of Sheltering Pines Press
publications to animal welfare, land conservation, and humanitarian charities.

Here are some of our recent and ongoing projects:
Sheltering Pines Press
is a proud supporter of
PLAN USA, and Childreach.

We currently sponsor three children through PLAN USA's Childreach program. There are many fine organizations who offer sponsorships with children in under- developed or developing countries all over the world. After much research we chose to sponsor children through Childreach, which is a non-sectarian program that honors the native cultures and religious beliefs of the people in communities they serve. Because we believe in honoring the spirituality and cultural differences of other peoples, this was an important point for us. Thank you, Childreach, for the great work you are doing!

Grace Notes: writings on our spiritual connection
with our animal brethren

Proceeds are donated to animal shelters and animal welfare organizations. With sales from the first six months after publication of this book, we were able to pay off our printing and initial postage costs. As of the beginning of the new year (January, 2004), all proceeds from sales of this book have gone directly to help the animals. Sheltering Pines Press is a proud member of the Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk, Maine. Other donations have been made to the Doris Day Animal League and The Humane Society of the United States.

LUCKY LADYBUGS:
Playroom Renovation Project
for Haikou orphanage, Hainan Island, China

Sheltering Pines Press and The Craft Fairy partnered with Love Without Boundaries to raise funds for a much-needed playroom renovation at the orphanage in Haikou, Hainan Island. Children learn by playing, and children who have nothing to play with are often developmentally delayed not only physically but cognitively and emotionally as well. Orphans at the Haikou SWI desperately need the stimulation that this new playroom will provide.
100% of all proceeds
from LUCKY LADYBUGS
went to the renovation project,
which will be overseen by
Love Without Boundaries!
